Kids Corner

Designed for children from birth to age 12 and their accompanying grownups, the Kids Corner offers an assortment of fun, hands-on activities that are designed to encourage discovery through play. An ideal area for early learners, this educational environment emphasizes the use of real objects with an extensive teaching collection for exploring natural history, life-cycle and biodiversity science topics.

Hours: 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday-Friday

First Floor, North West Corner, in the Berry Biodiversity Conservation Center, 10th and E. Lewis St. Laramie, WY.

Share your enthusiasm for the natural world with children, even as temperatures plummet outside. This space is designed for hands-on exploration, through puppets, games, and craft supplies. We also have a library of more than 40 kids' books about plants, animals, fungi, and their habitats. A sandbox with many potential animal inhabitants lets the youngest explorers engage in creative wildlife encounters.

Everyone is welcome to stop in the Kids' Corner, which is open during regular campus building hours. To arrange for activities tailored to your class or youth group learning goals, contact Dorothy by email or call 766-6279.
