Catchments are surveyed twice each spring/summer, roughly between June and late July depending on elevation. Catchments visits are individually adopted. You may choose to adopt an individual visit, or both.
Catchments vary in accessibility and difficulty. Some require long drives or hikes to access.
Catchments are broken out into three regions. Select an area below to select an catchment region, and on the following page click on individual catchment names below the map to view individual catchment details including description, access, and difficulty ratings.
Your job, once you adopt a catchment, is to visit that catchment at least once this summer, survey for amphibians, and submit your observations to us. Training (online or in-person) is required. You'll be contributing to real, live research in an incredibly meaningful way!
